Project: Tender21279 - Archives Collections Management System (Acms) . The Archives Of Ontario In Toronto, On, Part Of The Ontario Ministry Of Public And Business Service Delivery And Procurement, Is Tendering A Request For Bids (Rfb) For The Provision Of A Cloud-Based Archives Collections Management System (Acms). Scope Of Work The Ministry Of Public And Business Service Delivery And Procurement (Mpbsdp) Requires A Cloud-Based Archives Collections Management System (Acms). The Solution Comprises Commercial Off-The-Shelf (Cots) Software Product, Supported By Services Provided By The Vendor, Including Implementation Lifecycle Services, Enablement & Transition Go-Live Services, Managed Services, Data Backup & Recovery Services, Governance & Compliance Services And Transition Services. This Procurement Aims To Transition The Archives Of Ontario From Using An Outdated Collections Management System To A Modern Cloud-Based Collections Management System. The Solution Will Better Enable The Archives To Manage Its Descriptive Records Using Recognized Archival Standards And Supporting Discovery And Access To Archival Holdings For Internal Staff And Members Of The Public, Thereby Contributing Significantly To The Ongoing Preservation And Use Of The Cultural And Historical Heritage Of The Province. The Contract Is Expected To Start On May 15, 2026. The Initial Term Of The Agreement Is For Two (2) Years, With The Option, At The Sole Discretion Of The Ministry, To Extend For Up To Three (3) Additional One-Year Periods. The Solution Will Be Used By The Archives Of Ontario Staff And Public Users.
