Architectural, Engineering And Planning Services – Support Of Bim Modelers For Converting Plans From Autocad To Revit Of Campus Gasthuisberg. The Support Services (Facilities, Logistics, Technical, Prevention) Rely On A Digital Campus Model And Plan Book For All Kinds Of Applications. While Until A Few Years Ago People Mainly Worked In 2D Or 2.5D, Today A 3D Drawing Package Is The Standard. There Are Also New Possibilities In The Field Of Bim (Building Information Modelling) – And The Linking Of Intelligent Information To Building, Installation Or Device Elements. Today, The Drawing Room Of The Technical Department Manages All Planning And Data Material For Infrastructure (Buildings And Surroundings, Technical Installations And Equipment), Both Within Projects And During Operations. This Concerns ~830,000 M² Of As-Built Plan Information In >5,000 Plans. There Are 79 Building Parts. It Is The Wish Of The Contracting Authority To Completely Replace The Current Drawing Software (Autocad Architecture & Mep (= Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)), Which Has Been Used Within Uz Leuven For More Than 20 Years To Realize The Integration Of Various Autocad Layers (Architecture, Electricity, Hvac, Etc.), With Revit. The Recent New Construction Projects On The Gasthuisberg Campus Have Already Been Developed In Revit. In Concrete Terms, This Means That It Will Be Necessary To Convert All Plans, Both Autocad And Scanned Plans Of The Existing Infrastructure Campus Gasthuisberg (All Building Parts, Technical Installations And Equipment) Drawn In Autocad Architecture & Mep Before 2024, To The New Revit Software Package. This Assignment Includes The Following: The Entrepreneur Supports The Cad/Bim Team Of The Contracting Authority In Converting And Modeling Existing Planning Material (Autocad And Scanned Pdf/Tif Plans) Into Integrated Revit Models For 79 Building Parts On The Gasthuisberg Campus. The Entrepreneur Provides A Partial On-Site Presence Of His Employees At The Contracting Authority. This Is Necessary Since The As-Built Processing Of The Models Is Also Included In This Assignment. The Contracting Authority Provides An Access Badge And A Flexible Workplace. The Entrepreneur Provides The Hardware And Required Software. Autodesk Docs, Provided By The Contracting Authority, Is Used For The Storage And Exchange Of The Models, Which Provides The Necessary Access. The Assignment Consists Of Two Phases: Phase 1: Converting The 2D/2.5D Autocad Architecture To 3D Revit Via Ifc During The Conversion From Autocad To Revit, Not Only The Conversion Is Discussed, But Also The Checking Of The Correctness Of The Architecture Based On: Available Planning Material, As Well As Converting The Polylines. Phase 1 Is Carried Out In 2 Months. Phase 2: Converting Stability And Techniques To Revit - Stability: Converting The Current Plan Material (2D Autocad And/Or Scanned Pdf/Tif Plans) To 3D Revit; - Dry Techniques: Converting 2D Autocad To 2D Revit; - Wet Techniques: - Converting Pipes In 2D Autocad To 2D Revit (Pipes At Zero Level); - Converting Hvac From 2D Autocad To
