The Fairview Regional Aquatic Centre Opened In Late 2003. The Pool Consists Of A 25M 5 Lane Pool With Attached Zero Depth Teach Pool And A Hot Tub. The Town Is Seeking Proposals For The Refinish Of The Basins For The Main Pool, Teach Pool And Hot Tub. The Approximate Area For The Basins Are:•Main Pool Basin - 4500 Ft•Teach Pool - 930 Ft²•Zero Depth Entrance Portion Of The Teach Pool - 600 Ft²•Hot Tub - 575 Ft²project Description:The Contractor Will Provide A Proposal To Refinish All The Pool Basins At The Fairview Regional Aquatic Centre. Project Scope & Expected Deliverables:The Town Will Work With The Successful Proponent To Plan The Aquatic Center’S Shut Down. The Proponent Will Provide The Preferred Dates For The Project. The Town Wishes The Project To Be Completed Sometime Between September 1 – December 31, 2026. The Town Will Schedule The Annual Shut Down To Coincide With The Project Timelines. It Is The Expectation That The Successful Proponent Will Be Starting The Project During This Time, And Have All Required Materials, Subcontractors, Equipment And Any Other Requirements Ready And In Place For The Start Of The Planned Shut Down. The Town Will Work With The Successful Proponent To Set The Shut Down Start And End Dates. General Specifications & Expectations:•Preparation Of Existing Surface To Meet Industry Standards.•Application Of New Product To Surface To Meet Or Exceed Industry Standards. •Keep General Spaces Clean And In Good Repair And Condition. •Be Oh&S And Whimis Compliant•Proper Disposal Of All Construction Materials •Reinstall All Swimming Pool Fixtures.
