The Ringstrasse / Memminger Strasse (Allgäuer Ring) Junction Is A Heavily Trafficked Roundabout With A High Number Of Accidents, Particularly Cycling Accidents. The Current Design With Two-Lane Entrances And Large Radii Promotes High Speeds. The Ring Is To Be Rebuilt With The Following Goals: Improving Traffic Safety, Especially For Pedestrians And Cyclists. Maintaining Performance And Urban Integration. Level Crossings For Pedestrians And Cyclists At Entrances And Exits. Two Entry And One Exit Lanes, Designed Narrowly To Reduce Speeds. Improvement Of The Hydr. Sewerage Performance
