The Subject Of The Overall Contract Is The Successive Procurement And Implementation Of Components For An Automated Passenger Counting System (Afzs) As Part Of An Occasional Joint Contract Award By Several Municipal Authorities. The Overall Order Is Divided Into Three Lots: - Lot 1 - Self-Sufficient Automatic Passenger Counting System: Vehicle-Side Systems Including Installation, Commissioning, Certification, Land-Side Technical Background System And Maintenance Services. In Addition To The Equipment Of The Vehicles In The Tübingen+ Cluster, This Lot Also Includes The Districts Of Konstanz, Ortenaukreis, Rottweil And Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis. - Lot 2 - On-Board Computer-Supported Automatic Passenger Counting System: Vehicle-Side Systems Including Installation, Commissioning, Certification, Land-Side Technical Background System And Maintenance Services With Integration Into Existing On-Board Computer Infrastructures From Init From Karlsruhe. - Lot 3 - Multi-Tenant Afzs Background System: Processing And Evaluation Of Data From Various Vehicle-Based Afzs For The Tübingen+ Cluster. Procurement Is Staggered And The Lots Are Awarded Individually. This Tender Includes Lot 2 Described Above And Will Not Be Further Divided Into Partial Lots. It Must Be Expected That Many Passenger Counting Systems Will Have To Be Retrofitted Into Existing Vehicles Of Many Different Bus Types And Years At Different Locations In A Relatively Short Time. The Aim Of The Tender Is To Find A Company That Has Sufficient Experience And Capacity And Delivers Appropriate Systems And Installs Them In The Vehicles (The Bus Fleet) Of Db Regio Bus Baden-Württemberg And Its Subcontractors And Other Associated Companies (E.G. Swbc), Puts Them Into Operation Quickly, Has Them Tested For Counting Accuracy And Then Takes Over Maintenance And Repairs (As A Full Service).
