The Object Of The Procurement Is A Digitization Service To Convert Analog Material In The Archives Of The Kymenlaakso Welfare Area Into Electronic Format And Use It From The Electronic Archive System. The Goal Is To Reduce The Need For Paper Archive Facilities, Improve The Availability Of Material Regardless Of Location, And Enhance The Information Service. In The Project Of This Digitalization Service To Be Tendered, The Purpose Is To Digitize The Analogue Material Of The Patient Archive And Transfer It To The Subscribers Future Electronic Archive Solution (System To Be Tendered Separately). For The Sake Of Clarity, It Is Stated That The Kymenlaakso Welfare Area Is Running Its Own Separate Procurement Related To Electronic Archiving (Saas System). At The Time Of The Publication Of The Request For Tenders, It Is Not Yet Known What The Future Electronic Archive System Of The Kyme Welfare Area Will Be. With This Procurement, Therefore, The Electronic Archive Solution Is Not Procured, But Rather The Digitization Services Defined In The Request For Tender Are The Object Of The Procurement. A Collection Of Material Has Been Identified For The Acquisition, Which Will Be Digitized In The Project. In The First Phase Of The Procurement (The Project), The Plan Is To Digitize The Patient Documents Permanently Stored In The Patient Archive Of The Kymenlaakso Welfare Area. The Material Is Located In Kotka, On The Premises Of The Kymenlaakso Central Hospital, At Kotkantie 41. There Are Approx. 80–100 Meters Of Shelf Space. In Principle, The Material To Be Digitized Must Be Kept Secret. The Object Of Procurement Consists Of The Following Entities: 1. Project, Covering The Digitization Of Analog Material Specified In The Request For Tenders 2. Other Digitization Services, Covering Digitization Services Ordered Separately During The Contract Period Or Other Similar Services Related To The Object Of Procurement. It Is Possible For The Subscriber To Acquire Digitization Services During The Contract Period Within The Framework Of This Competitive Contract. The Subscriber Specifies And Agrees With The Selected Supplier Separately The Entities To Be Digitized And Their More Detailed Content Requirements (E.G. Schedule, Service Content). The Contract Period Is Four (4) Years, And It Can Be Extended With A Two (2) Year Option. During The Contract Period, The Subscriber Acquires The Digitization Service As Needed, And Does Not Commit To Any Purchase Quantities.
