Health And Social Work Services – Rehabilitation Day Activities For The Elderly, South Tampere And Pirkkala. Tuomi Logistiikka Oy Is Requesting Bids On Behalf Of The Pirkanmaa Welfare Area For Rehabilitative Day Activities For The Elderly In South Tampere And The Pirkkala Area. The Procurement Complements The Tender Conducted In Autumn 2025. Rehabilitative Day Activities For The Elderly Are Preventive Group Rehabilitative Activities That Support Functional Ability And Living At Home. Rehabilitation Day Activities For The Elderly Are Organized As A Support Service In Accordance With § 19 Of The Social Welfare Act (1301/2014). The Service To Be Acquired Is Daily Rehabilitative Activities That Take Place At The Service Providers Physical Office. The Service To Be Procured Is Described In More Detail In The Attachments Of The Request For Tender. The Procurement Has Not Been Divided Into Parts, Because The Customer Has A Need For One Service Provider And Its Office. The Day Activity Unit For Rehabilitating The Elderly Must Be Located In The Area Described In Appendix 4 Procurement Object. In The Competition, One (1) Service Provider Is Selected To Produce The Service. The Contract Period Starts On August 1, 2026 And Is Valid Until Further Notice. The Service Provider Must Start Operations On August 17, 2026 At The Beginning Of The Operating Period Of The Subscribers Rehabilitative Day Activities. The Anticipated Value Of The Procurement Has Been Calculated For The Entire Procurement Entity For A Calculated Period Of Four (4) Years, Based On The Largest Possible Number Of Customers Estimated By The Customer. The Quantities Of Orders Placed On The Basis Of The Procurement Contract Vary According To The Customers Needs, And The Procurement Contract Does Not Contain A Quantity Or Minimum Purchase Obligation. The Object Of The Procurement And The Minimum Requirements Are Described In The Request For Tender And In The Appendices Of The Request For Tender.
