Tenders are invited for Final External Evaluation for Music Education Project The project was designed to support the integration of music within public school environments while expanding access to structured music education opportunities for children. The action responds to identified needs within the education sector, including the limited presence of music in daily classroom practices, the need to strengthen teachers capacities, and the restricted access of many children to cultural and artistic activities. The project combines school based and extracurricular interventions. At the school level, the project focuses on strengthening the capacities of school supervisors and primary school teachers through specialized training on music fundamentals and on the use of music as a pedagogical tool. Teachers are supported to apply music based and interactive approaches within their regular teaching practices. This component is complemented by classroom application and follow up, including monitoring and pedagogical support. At the student level, the project supports childrens participation in structured music learning activities, including individual and group sessions. The action also promotes collective musical engagement through ensemble based work and public performances. In this context, a childrens orchestra has been established and continues to provide sustained music education and artistic development opportunities for participating students. The project is implemented in a complex operational environment shaped by movement restrictions and broader contextual challenges affecting schools, teachers, and children. Implementation has therefore required continuous coordination, flexibility, and adaptation while maintaining the overall objectives of the action. As the project approaches its final phase, Al Kamandjati Association seeks to commission an external evaluator to conduct an independent assessment of the project.
