Tenders are invited for Development of a Concept Note as a Funding Proposal to Scale up Anaerobic Digest Location: Kigali Deadline: Monday, 02/03/2026 08:51 Description of the Assignment:The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Rwanda Country Office invites qualified national individual consultants to submit proposals for the development of a comprehensive concept note as a funding proposal to scale up modern anaerobic digestion (biogas) technology in Rwanda. The assignment aims to support Rwandas climate mitigation efforts by analysing methane reduction potential from livestock manure, assessing sustainable financing mechanisms and business models, and preparing a high-quality concept note to mobilize climate finance aligned with Rwandas clean energy and agricultural priorities. The consultant will conduct technical, financial, and stakeholder analyses and develop a bankable concept note targeting climate funding institutions and carbon market opportunities Period of assignment/services: 60 working days over a period of 3 months (FebruaryApril 2026) Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
