Work Detail
The Project Consists Of The Following Major Elements: Pre-Construction Consultation And Construction Of A Replacement Of The Existing East Lake Bps With A New Bps On The Existing Site, As Well As Approximately 5,000 Linear Feet (Lf) Of New Water Main Outside Of The Existing Bps Property (Suction And Discharge Piping) To Improve The System Hydraulics. The New Bps Is Anticipated To Have The Following Features: -Horizontal Split Case Pumps Inside New Bps Building-Site Piping Designed To Maintain The Existing Operations Of The Onsite Ground Storage Tanks-Standby Power Generator With Automatic Transfer Switch-The Existing Bps Interior Will Be Demolished, And The Building Will Be Left For Storage If Possible-The New Building Will Have A Roll Up Door And Crane System For Pump Removal/Access, Climate Controlled Electrical Room With New Switchgear And Vfds.
