New Consoles / Arrangements Are To Be Cast On The Land Vessels And New Railings Are To Be Established. A Temporary Footbridge Will Be Established During The Construction Period When The Existing Bridge Is Removed Until The New Bridge Is Operational. The Gunnarbuøyra Bridge Is A Concrete Bridge With 2 Spans And A Length Of Approx. 27 Meters And A Width Of 3.5 Metres. The Bridge Has Prefabricated Concrete Ribs As A Support System. The Top Of The Cast-In-Place Wedding Deck In Concrete Acts As A Wear Layer. The Bridges Weak Points Are Poor Handrails, The Concrete Elements Are Peeling, The Wear Layer Is Weathered And There Are No Functioning Joints.
