Tenders are invited for Maintenance of Sanitary and Cleaning Services. Bids are hereby invited by the Procurement Committee of the Admin. Division of the Department of Agriculture, Peradeniya for the maintenance of sanitary and cleaning services. Details of this, bid forms and conditions, etc., can be inspected free of charge at the Ad/2 Branch of the Head Office of the Department of Agriculture. Applicants may obtain the relevant bid documents and bid forms from the Ad/2 Branch of the Administrative Division of the Department of Agriculture, located on Old Galaha Road, Peradeniya, on working days from 19.02.2026 to 06.03.2026 on weekdays from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Rs. 3500/- in cash to the Shroff of the Department of Agriculture. Applicants should be registered with the Registrar of Public Contracts under Public Contracts Act No. 03 of 1987 as prescribed by Procurement Guideline 5.6.3 and a certified copy of the registration certificate should be submitted with bid documents. Bids should be submitted upon physically inspection of the relevant premises. All bids inserted in sealed envelopes should be sent by registered post to the Chairman, Procurement Committee, Admin Branch 02, Department of Agriculture, Old Galaha Road, Peradeniya. Alternatively, they can be deposited in the tender box kept at the Ad/2 Branch of Head Office, at the above address. "Quotations for Cleaning and Sanitary Services - 2026/2027" should be marked on top left corner of envelopes containing bids. Acceptance of bids will close at 10.30 a.m. on 09.03.2026 and the bids will be opened immediately thereafter at the Ad/2 Branch of Head Office of Department of Agriculture. Only the bidders or one of their authorized representatives may attend the bid opening. All bids should be submitted with a cash security deposit of Rs. 167,000.00 or a Bid Security obtained from a commercial bank recognized by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
