In Addition To The Architecture Programme, National Tourist Routes Has A Targeted Initiative For One Site-Appropriate Work Of Art Along Each Of The 18 National Tourist Routes. Ryfylke Is One Of The Seven Sections That Remain In The Art Programme. The Completed Art Projects Include Works By Norwegian And International Contemporary Artists Who Are Among The Foremost In Their Fields. The Art Investment Maintains A Level That Makes The Program Internationally Recognised, And It Is Considered One Of The Most Ambitious And Qualitatively Strong Initiatives For Site-Specific Art In Landscape And Nature. Along The Ryfylke National Tourist Route, A Work Of Art Will Be Built At Vardavika In The Jøsenfjord Along Rv 13. Through The Acquisition, We Are Looking For Contractors/Stonemasons Who Can Physically And Technically Carry Out The Work On The Artwork Vardafletta, Which Was Designed By Artist Ann Cathrin November Høibo. The Work Consists Of Making A Blank From The Mountain On Site And Then Processing/Shaping The Blank Into A Braid In Accordance With The Functional Description, As Well As Creating A Path Between The Car Park And Artwork. Close Collaboration With The Artist, Art Curator And Client Is Required Throughout The Work Period. A Contract Must Be Entered Into With One Supplier.
