The Purpose Of This Purchase Is To Contract The Services Of Washing, Drying And Ironing Of The Soft Inventory (Bed Linen, Pillowcases, Robes, Blankets, Other Textile Materials Used In The Medical Activity) Within The Episcop Nicolae Popovici Municipal Hospital. The Need For The Purchase Is Determined By The Continuous Performance Of Medical Activities And The Institutions Obligation To Ensure Appropriate Conditions Of Hygiene And Sanitary Safety, In Accordance With The Legal Norms In Force Regarding The Prevention Of Infections Associated With Medical Care. The Hospital Does Not Have Its Own Adequate Capacities For Carrying Out Washing, Drying And Ironing Services Of Soft Inventory Internally, Respectively Appropriate Technical Equipment, Authorized Spaces And Specialized Personnel. The Lack Of These Services Or Their Performance In Inappropriate Conditions Could Lead To An Increase In Epidemiological Risks And To The Impairment Of The Quality Of The Medical Act. By Concluding A Public Procurement Framework Agreement With An Authorized Economic Operator, The Following Is Ensured: • Compliance With Hygiene And Public Health Rules; • Continuity Of Medical Activity; • Reducing The Risk Of Contamination And Nosocomial Infections; • Efficient And Judicious Use Of Public Funds. The Purchase Is Necessary, Timely And Justified, Being Indispensable For The Proper Functioning Of The Episcop Nicolae Popovici Municipal Hospital. The Procurement Procedure Represents An Effective, Timely And Legal Solution For Maintaining Medical Standards And Avoiding Blockages In The Current Activity Of The Health Unit For The Next Period, Namely 2026 - 2030.
