BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE The Network of Women Working for Rural Development (Womens Network) is a national non-governmental organization of public interest, created in 1986 and governed by Law No. 04/2012 of 17/02/2012 on the organization and functioning of national non-governmental organizations. In collaboration with AMIE and thanks to funding from the Government of Canada (Global Affairs Canada), the Network of Women Working for Rural Development plans the installation of solar panels at the Specialized SRHR Clinic Karame. The main objective of this action is to ensure a reliable and continuous energy supply, guaranteeing the optimal functioning of essential medical equipment, the conservation of medicines and temperature-sensitive products, as well as the overall quality of healthcare services. The installation of the solar panels will also reduce dependence on the conventional electricity grid, reduce operational costs related to energy consumption and strengthen the environmental sustainability of the clinic by exploiting a clean, inexhaustible and widely available source of energy. This system will include the sizing of the photovoltaic modules, integration with existing equipment, as well as energy storage and regulation devices to ensure optimal service continuity. It is in this context that the Womens Network invites companies capable of carrying out this work and which meet the conditions prescribed in this document to send their tenders. II. REQUIREMENTS The company must be legally registered; Have a VAT certificate from the Rwanda Revenue Board; Have 2 years of relevant experience; Have successfully completed similar work. III. SELECTION METHOD The Womens Networks procurement committee will analyze the bids to see the best bidder, and finally proceed with the notification for the execution of the work. IV. PAYMENT METHOD The terms of payment will be prescribed in the service contract. No upward adjustments to the original rate will be accepted during the term of the contract.
