Expression of Interest are invited for KSA -Regulatory Framework on Gold & Precious Gemstones / Sustainability Aspects of Artisanal Mining This procurement includes two tasks: The primary objective of the first task is to help in the review its regulatory framework on gold and precious stones to bring the sector into alignment with international best practicesincluding standards from the OECD, LBMA, and World Gold Councilwhile addressing the specific domestic challenges of the Saudi market. The primary objective of the second task is to characterize the environmental and social impact of artisanal mining (ASM) in KSA and share best practices in artisanal mining activities as well as artisanal mining formalization strategies.
