Expression of Interest for Engagement of External Auditor ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT Interested Auditing firms are required to submit the following mandatory documents; i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC2 and CAC7. ii) Evidence of current Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December 2025. iii) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2025. (Applicable to Bidders whose staff strength is 5 and above and the Bidders Turnover is N50m and above) iv) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2025. (Applicable to Bidders whose staff strength is 15 and above. v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2025. vi) Evidence of registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31st of December 2025 or valid Certificate issued by the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP). vii) Copy of Certified Audited company Accounts for the immediate past three years (2022,2023 and 2024) duly stamped by certified Auditors. viii) Evidence of current annual return with the Financial Reporting Council. ix) A sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the University of Abuja or the Bureau of Public procurement is a present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the firm and to confirm that all information presented are true and correct in all particulars. x) Evidence of Firm Registration and Current License issued with relevant professional body i.e ANAN, ICAN. xi) Evidence of Registration with Office of the Auditor General of the Federation. xii) Company Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the assignment including copies of their academic/professional credentials (ANAN, ICAN etc) xiii) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering/forwarding letter under the firms letter head paper bearing among others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.) and email address. The Letterhead paper must bear the names and nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page. The covering/forwarding letter must be duly signed by the authorized Officer of the Firm. Please note that the University reserves the right to verify the evidences submitted. 3.0 SUBMISSION & OPENING OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST i) All interested firms are to submit two copies, One (1) original and one (1) copy of Expression of Interest with supporting documents neatly packaged in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ENGAGEMENT AS EXTERNAL AUDITOR and addressed to: The Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja. P.M.B 117, Airport Road, Abuja, FCT. The reverse side of the envelope should bear the Name and address of the Firm. ii) The envelopes are to be submitted in the Office of the Director of Procurement, Ground Floor, Senate Building, Main Campus, Airport Road Abuja. not later than 12 noon, Monday,30th March 2026. iii) All firms should ensure that their submission(s) is (are) appropriately logged in the submission Register in the Office. The University of Abuja will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted Document. iv) All submitted Expression of Interest documents shall be publicly opened immediately after the submission deadline at 12noon Monday,30th March 2026 in The Vice Chancellors Conference Room, Senate Building, Main Campus, Airport Road Abuja. in the presence of the representative of the firms, NGOs and Civil Society Organization.
