Construction Work – Glenfarne Wood Phase 1 Project. Phase 1 – Core Elements • New Trailhead Building, Incorporating Toilets, A Small Office, Storage Facilities And An Extended Roofed Area To Support Sheltered Events And Community Activities. • Expanded Parking Facilities, Increasing Capacity From 10 To 33 Spaces And Introducing Designated Spaces For Buses, Campervans, Boat Trailers And Bicycles. • A New Multi-Access Playground And Sensory Trail, Located Close To The Trailhead Building And Providing An Accessible Link Between The Trailhead And The Lakefront. This Project Is Being Funded By Coillte, Leitrim County Council, And The Department Of Rural And Community Development And The Gaeltacht Under The Rural Regeneration And Development Fund.
