Traffic Flow Measuring System – Sensor Network For Traffic Data Collection In Bochum With Open Source Solution. The City Of Bochum Is Planning To Set Up And Operate A City-Wide Sensor Network To Collect Traffic Data. The Aim Is To Precisely Record Traffic Flows At At Least 17 And A Maximum Of 43 Locations In The City - Separated By Traffic Types And Vehicle Classes. The Measure Includes Planning, Delivery, Assembly, Commissioning, Calibration, Maintenance, Documentation, Support And Operation Of The Sensors. The Collected Data Is To Be Transmitted Via Open Interfaces To The Open Source Based Civitas Core Platform (Udp) Of The City Of Bochum And Processed, Stored And Visualized There. The Software And Interface Development Of The Solution On The Udp Are Integral Parts Of The Service To Be Provided.
