Construction Work For Pipelines, Communication And Power Lines – Cable Ploughing - Strenglögn - Lón - Austurland. The Project Comprises The Installation Of A High-Voltage Power Cable In The Stafafellsfjöll Mountain Area And From Brekka To Aðalbóli, Located In Lón Within The Municipality Of Hornafjörður. In Addition, Cable Installation Will Be Carried Out From Reyðará To Holt. A Primary High-Voltage Cable Will Be Installed Between Brekka And Aðalból, With Subsidiary Branch Cables Connected To The Main Line. The Works Also Include The Installation Of Substations, High-Voltage Connection Cabinets, And Switch Houses Along The Cable Route. The Total Length Of Cable Ploughing Routes Is Approximately 20 Km. The Scope Of Works Includes The Installation Of 13 Ground-Mounted Substations, 2 High-Voltage Connection Cabinets, And 2 Switch Houses. The Planned Construction Period Is From 7 April 2026 To 15 June 2026.
