The Waste-To-Energy Plant Consists Of 2 Incinerators, Each Equipped With A Steam Boiler. The Steam Is Used Both As A Heating Source And To Generate Electricity. These Steam Boilers Contain Heat Exchangers In The Form Of Tube Bundles. These Pipe Bundles Have Been Damaged By Intense Use. As A Result, Repair Work Is Required On The Following Parts For Both Boilers: • Evaporator 1 • Superheater 1 • Superheater 2 The Assignment Includes, On The One Hand, The Removal Of The Current Tube Bundles From Both Boilers And, On The Other Hand, The Fabrication And Installation Of The New Tube Bundles. Removing The Pipe Bundles Involves Removing Insulation And Plating, Dismantling, Removing And Transporting The Old Pipe Bundles To A Scrap Container. The New Pipe Bundles Must Be Manufactured In Accordance With The Applicable Standards And Guidelines, According To Ped Cat. Iv Mod. G. Installing The New Pipe Bundles Includes Bringing The New Pipe Bundles To Site, Mounting And Welding Them And Replacing The Insulation. Any Damaged Insulation And/Or Plating Must Be Repaired. A Construction File Must Also Be Drawn Up For The Inspection Body. The Costs Of The Inspection By A Recognized Body Are Also Borne By The Contractor. The Assignment Is Considered To Be An Assignment Against A Fixed Lump Sum Price, Which Includes All Work And Deliveries As Specified In The Specifications. The Pipes Of The Evaporators And Superheaters Are Part Of The Steam Boiler And Can Only Be Replaced One-On-One, Identical To The Existing Version. Alternatives In Terms Of Dimensions Are Not Possible. There May Be Alternatives To The Choice Of Materials, If Suitable For The Application. The Works Can Only Continue During The Annual Shutdown Of The Power Plant.
