The project is divided into several packages as described below: Substations Package S1 & S2: New 132/11kV Substations. Package S3: New 66/11kV Substations. Package S4: New 400/220/132kV Substation, upgrade & modifications of existing 400kV and 220kV substations. Package S5: New 132/11kV Substations, upgrade & modifications of existing 132kV and 66kV substations. Cables Package C1 & C2: 400kV Cables. Below are Bid Bond Values for each package: Package S1: 1,000,000 QR Package S2: 1,000,000 QR Package S3: 1,000,000 QR Package S4: 1,000,000 QR Package S5: 1,000,000 QR Package C1: 1,000,000 QR Package C2: 1,000,000 QR Notes: KAHRAMAA tenders are published through the Unified Website of State Procurement (https://monaqasat.mof.gov.qa/) & Kahramaa Websites. Purchase of tender documents and submission of offers shall be through the Unified website of State Procurement only. However, foreign companies (based outside Qatar with no local office here) that are not registered on the Unified Website may still participate, subject to the following considerations and the payment of the tender fee: a) If awarded a tender, the company will register in accordance with applicable laws in Qatar. b) Must submit official registration certificates from the home country, duly notarized and attested by the Embassy of Qatar in their home country. c) Must provide a classification certificate or its equivalent, issued by the country of incorporation and certified by the Embassy of the State of Qatar. d) If applicable, a Special Power of Attorney in the name of local representative (not a JV partner or a consortium member) clearly outlining the authority of the local representative to handle the tender process only. In case of JV or consortium with the local company, to provide the certified JV or consortium agreement, as applicable. · Fees are non-refundable · The offer must be submitted with a bank guarantee (in the amount of provisional bid bond) issued by a Qatari Bank or by a bank operating in Qatar. · Offers are to be submitted separately, technical and commercial. · Successful bidder has to submit a Bank Guarantee (Performance Bond) with value equal to 10% of the awarded value. · KAHRAMAA has the right during the contract period, after approval of the committee, to increase or decrease the quantities, services or works, inline with the Tenders & Auctions Law and its regulations. · Last date for receiving clarification is 10 days before the Bid Closing Date. · Date for opening of the offer is on the next working day from Bid Closing Date, as per the Tenders Committee meeting.
