Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Design Review, Preparation of Tender Document and Supervision of Sewerage Last Mile Connectivity Projects in Tharaka Nithi, Meru and Kirinyaga Counties The Government of Kenya on behalf of Tana Water Works Development Agency has requested for financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the National Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Program (NUWSSP) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Design Review, Preparation of Tender Document and Supervision of Sewerage Last Mile Connectivity Projects in Tharaka Nithi, Meru and Kirinyaga Counties. The objective of this consultancy is to engage a consulting firm to undertake Design Review. Preparation of the Tender Documents. The Scope of works entails 4 project components: Cluster 4 - Kerugoya Kutus Sewerage Last Mile Connectivity Project. a) Laying of 8km Sewer Pipeline system. bj Construction of 1 Ablution Block. cj Purchasing of 1 Exhauster truck. d) 1 Exhauster discharge bay. ej 2,000 Household customer connections systems. Cluster 5 - Chuka Sewerage Last Mile Connectivity Project. a] Laying of 7.3km Sewer Pipeline system, bj Construction of 1 Decentralized Treatment Facility, cj Construction of 1 Ablution Block, d) Purchasing of 1 Exhauster truck ej Construction of Discharge Bay f) Laying of 3 km DN 250 mm- 300 mm secondary sewer lines. g] Last mile Customer connections for 2,000 Households.
