Tenders are invited for Quality Audit Ethiopia Closing Date: 23 Feb 2026 Type: Consultancy Introduction/background of Tiko Tiko (previously known as Triggerise) is an organization that uses its digital platform called Tiko to motivate users primarily young women and adolescent girls to make positive choices. We use nudges like reminders, discounts, in-person and digital follow-ups, and reward points to encourage our users to access and use healthy products and services. We also su pport them in becoming entrepreneurs and adding value to their economies. Tikos reward points can be used to redeem products and services at local shops or as subsidies to cover the cost of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, removing the cost to access for the users, who are primarily 15-24-year-old adolescent girls and young women (AGYW). Tiko established the Quality Assurance (QA) Marketplace to strengthen quality improvement in non-franchised private facilities through the PlanDoCheckAct (PDCA) model. The marketplace engages Independent QA Consultants to support privately owned clinics, mainly in urban and peri-urban areas, where young people seek confidential SRH services. Within the Tiko service delivery ecosystem complementing other service delivery channels, which include public facilities, pharmacies, and franchised networksthe QA Marketplace supports the non-franchised facilities to comply with Ministry of Health (MoH) and Tiko quality standards, thereby improving service quality and expanding access to youth-friendly, stigma-free care Tiko has operations in the following countries, either by having offices or by working through local partners in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, and South Africa. Tiko Ethiopia is planning to recruit a consultant firm or an individual consultant to do quality assurance(QA) activities in private non-franchise facilities that are located in Addis Ababa and Hawassa Town.) Scope of work Tiko is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct baseline quality audit, training need assessment, and Development quality improvement (QIP) in tiko supporting non-franchise private clinics that are located in Addis Ababa and Hawassa town administration, in the following two-tier approach Tier 1 Baseline QA Audit, Training needs assessment & QIP Development Conduct clinical quality baseline audits to identify key quality gaps that affect the delivery of quality youth-friendly services across all the Tiko health offers Ensure the availability of commodities and consumables for FP/ HIV/SGBV services. Note and ensure the availability of tools, guidelines, and standard operating processes (SOPs) to identify infrastructural, process, and documentation gaps Conduct training needs assessment and enhance service provider competency through immediate on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching. Conduct quality improvement audits and develop quality improvement plans for action by the facilities. Tier 2: QIP Implementation, Mentorship, Training & Continuous Quality Improvement Review baseline audit and Training Need Assessment(TNA) findings, refine the QIP template, and share the implementation workplan. Implement and Monitor QIP Progress Build the Competency of the health care provider and Reporting Provided need-based training and mentorship to service providers and reported the activities. Compile comprehensive QA audit reports and write reports based on the assessments. Share and hand these reports over to the Tiko QA Specialist. Document, present, and discuss all key learnings noted during the performance of the above scope activities with Tikos QA Specialist. Documented evidence of corrections in infrastructure, documentation, and clinical process gaps. Location of services The activities will be implemented in Tiko, supporting private facilities located in Addis Ababa (a maximum of 40 facilities) and Hawassa (a maximum of 5 facilities). Technical requirements Item Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical experience and expertise in Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health (AYSRH), Family Planning (FP), HIV, and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), acquired specifically within a private clinic or pharmacy setting. Item Demonstrated experience in providing and documenting clinical mentorship, capacity-building, or quality improvement interventions at private facilities in the project intervention areas Item At least 1 year of experience in implementing health-related projects (compulsory clinical experience and experience in implementing adolescent and youth service delivery projects are added advantages).
