Act On Certain Matters Concerning The Political Parties (Parties Act) Entered Into Force On 1 January 2006. The Party Law Board Is Central To The System For Monitoring That The Political Parties Comply With Their Obligations Under The Party Act. In Order To Strengthen The Independent Control Of The Financing Of The Registered Political Parties, The Professional And Politically Neutral Control Body Partirevisjonsutvalget (Pru) Was Established Through An Amendment To The Law In 2013. The Pru Assists The Party Law Board In Controlling The Provisions Of The Law So That The Laws Purpose Of Transparency About The Financing Of The Political Parties Finances, And Thereby Also Counteracting Corruption And Other Unwanted Ties, Is Strengthened. Since The First Appointment In October 2014, Pru Has Consisted Of Two Members. The Members Of The Pru Are Appointed By The Party Law Committee. The Tribunal Must Now Appoint Two New Members Who Must Be Registered Or State-Authorised Auditors Approved In Accordance With Chapter 3 Of The Auditors Act. The Appointment Period Is Four Years From The Signing Of The Contract. The Contract Period Runs From The Conclusion Of The Contract Until 18 September 2030. The Members Will Be Appointed For Pru From 19 September 2026 – To 19 September 2030. The Duration Is Intended To Allow The Supplier To Start Preparatory Work Until Appointment. The Agreement Is Estimated To Have A Total Value For Both Auditors Of Nok 2.4 Million Excl. Vat Expected Consumption Is Nok 2.0 Million Excl. Vat The Estimate Is Not Binding On The Client And Will Depend On The Scope Of The Routine Checks And The Number Of Special Assignments As Well As Guidance Associated With These. The Final Delivery Deadline For The Agreement Is 18 September 2030.
