Project Objectives ▪Design A Mural That Captures The Culture And Natural History Of Port Hardy Through Collaboration With The District And Consultation With The Kwakiutl First Nation, On Whose Traditional Territory Port Hardy Is Located. ▪Collaborate And Involve Local Youth In The Mural Design And Installation. ▪Utilize Natural, Durable, And Non-Weathering Materials That Are Appropriate To The Local Environment. ▪Provide Care And Maintenance Guidelines That Promotes The Long-Term Preservation Of The New Mural. The Successful Proponent Will Provide Professional Services For The Design, Replacement, And Installation Of A New Mural On The Exterior Wall Of The Library/Museum Located At 7110 Market Street In Port Hardy, In Coordination With The District. The Designer Should Be Prepared To Develop A Design That Reflects The Port Hardy Landscape, Including The Areas Indigenous And Non-Indigenous History.
