1. Introductionthe Subject Of The Order Is To Carry Out Scientific Research On The Tributaries Of The Catchment Area And Lake Ełckie And Develop A Document Entitled: Research Report Containing An Assessment Of The Quality Of Surface Waters Of Lake Ełckie, Analysis Of Research Results And Development Of A Concept For The Recultivation Of Lake Ełckie In Terms Of Assessing Sources Of Pollution, Together With The Preparation Of A Conceptual Project For Improving The Water Condition, Implemented As Part Of The Ltpl00368 Project Titled: Water Is Wealth. Improving The Condition Of Water Reservoirs Co-Financed By The European Union From The European Regional Development Fund Under The Interreg Vi-A Lithuania – Poland 2021–2027 Program. The Aim Of The Research Is To Assess The Ecological Condition Of Lake Ełk By Conducting A Natural Inventory Of The Area Around The Reservoir Along With Assessing Biodiversity, Analyzing The Physicochemical Parameters Of The Water, The Composition And Structure Of Ichthyofauna And Bottom Sediments. These Studies Will Enable The Identification Of Potential Threats To The Lake Ecosystem And Will Indicate Real Directions For Remedial And Protective Actions That Are Economically Justified.2. Scope Of Research To Be Performed:2.1. The Contractor Will Perform A Natural Inventory Of The Area Around The Reservoir Along With An Assessment Of Biodiversity. 2.2. Performing Telemetry Tests.2.3. The Contractor Will Assess The Biodiversity Of Aquatic Macrophytes And Assess And Classify The Ecological State Of The Lake Based On Macrophytes, Using The Esmi (Ecological State Macrophyte Index) Method Or An Equivalent Method. An Equivalent Method Is Considered To Be A Methodology Based On The Analysis Of The Species Composition Of Macrophytes And The Degree Of Coverage Of The Reservoir, Enabling The Classification Of Ecological Status In Accordance With The Requirements Of The Water Framework Directive And Ensuring Comparability Of Results With National Water Monitoring. Field Surveys Should Be Performed In At Least 30 Transects Distributed In A Manner Representative Of The Diversity Of Lake Habitats.2.4. The Contractor Will Carry Out Control Catches On Lake Ełckie Along With A Description Of The State Of The Lakes Ichthyofauna.2.5. The Contractor Will Perform Tests Of The Water Quality Of The Reservoir, Including Collecting Samples Of Water And Bottom Sediments (For Laboratory Analysis) And Field Measurements (Surface And Bottom Zones). Physico-Chemical Tests Of Water And Bottom Sediments Must Be Performed By An Accredited Laboratory.2.6. The Contractor Will Prepare An Assessment Of The Reservoirs Impact On The Environment (Water Quality, Ecological Condition, Natural Susceptibility To Degradation, Trophism, Catchment Properties).2.7. The Contractor Will Prepare A Hydro-Morphological Analysis Of The Reservoir, Taking Into Account The Impact Of The Catchment Area On The Reservoir.2.8.
