Tenders are invited for OSH & Climate-Smart Expert. The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), with funding from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) through the Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), is implementing the Economic Development and Food Security project in Akkar and North Lebanon. The project aims to sustain agricultural production and strengthen the economic resilience of vulnerable farming households through capacity building, technical assistance, and the promotion of sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices. RMF is currently Requesting a Quotation for expert/consultant services for the implementation of OSH and climate-smart training and technical support activities in Akkar and North Lebanon. The project aims to sustain agricultural production and strengthen the economic resilience of vulnerable farming households through capacity building, technical assistance, and the promotion of sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices. The consultancy aims to strengthen the capacities of 90 farmers previously targeted under the EDFS project through the delivery of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) training and technical guidance. The consultancy aims to reduce occupational health risks and work-related injuries, promote the safe handling of agricultural inputs and equipment, and foster safer and healthier working environments. Improved OSH practices are expected to reduce work-related injuries, lower medical expenses, increase labor productivity, and contribute to safer and more resilient farming households.
