The City Of Bad Münstereifel (Client) Needs Archive Software. The Previously Used City Archive, Which Was Located In The Historic Town Hall Of The City Of Bad Münstereifel, Was Damaged In The 2021 Flood Disaster. This Also Caused Damage To The Documents Stored In The City Archives And The Photo Archive Of The City Of Bad Münstereifel. In The Medium Term, The City Archives Will Be Relocated To A New Building. Due To This Spatial Situation And In View Of The Upcoming Restoration Measures Of The Damaged Documents And Photos, Transports And Moves With The Archive Material Will Be Necessary In The Next Few Years, Which Must Be Coordinated And Documented By Adequate Storage And Location Management. The Current Situation At The City Archives Places Special Demands On The New Archive Database: The Archive Material Will Undergo One Or More Restoration Processes In Different Workshops, Depending On The Individual Damage Pattern. These Processes Must Be Able To Be Mapped In The New Archive Software. The Database Must Be Able To Document The Damage Patterns, The Conservation And Restoration Measures Undertaken, As Well As Recommendations For The Further Storage And Usability Of The Archive Material. In Addition, The New Archive Software Must Be Able To Show Which Holdings Were Destroyed In The Course Of The 2021 Flood Disaster (Flood Loss) And Which Archive Items Suffered A (High) Loss Of Images Or Text, E.G. In The Case Of Photographs Due To The Loss Of The Surface Or In The Case Of Documents Due To The Ink Being Heavily Washed Out.
