Tenders Are Invited For Making Two Goudse Houtsingel Crossing Locations Safer

The Urban Peripheral Road Van Reenensingel - Goudse Houtsingel - Goverwellesingel Is Being Improved Based On The Traffic Circulation Plan (Vcp). The Adjustments To The Goudse Houtsingel Are Part Of A Broader Vision To Keep Through Traffic Out Of The City Center And Make Better Use Of The Peripheral Roads For Car Traffic. These Measures Are Intended To Improve Road Safety And Increase The Quality Of Life In The City. In The Project “Making Two Crossing Locations Safer At Goudse Houtsingel”, The Municipality Is Making A Total Of Two Crossings Safer For Cyclists And Pedestrians By Redesigning The Crossings And Intersections Of The Goudse Houtsingel With Side Streets. One Crossing Will Be Removed. Two Crossing Locations In The Goudse Houtsingel, At The Intersection With The Kale Jonkerpad And At The Riding School De Goudse Manege (Goudse Houtsingel 101), Have Already Been Implemented. In Broad Terms, The Following Activities Are Distinguished Within The Work To Be Carried Out: • Removing And Installing (Element) Paving; • Removing And Installing Edge Closures; • Removing And Installing Asphalt Pavements; • Removing And Installing Green Areas; • Removing And Installing Street Furniture; • Removing And Installing Gullies And Gully Pipes; • Carrying Out Groundwork; • Carrying Out Other And General Activities. The Quantities Are Included In The Raw Specifications, Which Are Included As An Appendix To The Tender Guidelines.
