Transport Services (Excl. Waste Transport) – Lk St. Wendel Bikesharing. As Part Of The Sankt Wendel Districts Smart City Project, A Station-Based Bike Sharing System Is To Be Set Up. The Aim Is To Promote Sustainable Mobility Through The Operation Of A Digital And Networked Bike Sharing System. Bike Sharing Means The Possibility Of Renting And Dropping Off Freely Available Bikes At Specially Designed Stations. The Bikes Are Booked Using Digital Booking Software. This Will Be Used To Unlock Bikes For Use And Also Return Them. The Implementation Takes Place In Close Cooperation With The Cities And Municipalities Of The District As Well As The Commissioned Provider. The Project Starts With Station-Based Bike Sharing In The District Town Of St. Wendel And The Municipality Of Nohfelden And With Cargo E-Bike Sharing In The Municipality Of Namborn. The Subject Of The Order Is The Establishment And Operation Of The Bike Sharing System
