Tenders Are Invited For Acquisition / Renewal Of The Pharmacy And Drug Mechanized Dose Delivery Service

The Object Of The Procurement Is The Mechanized Dose Distribution Service For The Pharmacy And Medicine Customers Of The Central Finland Welfare Regions Home And Housing Services Responsibility Area. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Complement The Previously Published Procurement For The Areas For Which No Bids Were Received. Medicines Dose Distribution Services Will Be Procured For The Elderly And Special Groups (Disabled, Intellectually Disabled, Mental Health And Substance Abuse Rehabilitation) Clients Of Housing And Home Care Services. The Scope Of Dose Distribution Includes All Customers Who Have Been Diagnosed With A Need For Mechanized Dose Distribution Of Medicines And For Whom Dose Distribution Is Suitable For The Implementation Of Drug Treatment. The Mechanized Dose Distribution Service Initially Includes Managing The Medication Care Of The Customers Of The Subscribers Operational Units Mentioned In Appendix 2, Which Includes At Least The Initiation Of Medication Dose Distribution, Mechanized Dose Distribution For Single Doses Every Two (2) Weeks, Administration Of Customer Prescriptions, Evaluation Of The Suitability Of The Customers Medication For Dose Distribution, Evaluation Of Interactions And Medication Review. The Service Also Includes The Delivery Of The Customers Other Prescription Drugs (E.G. Not Suitable For Dose Distribution, Such As Injection Preparations, Medicine Patches, Inhalation Preparations) And Self-Medication Preparations, As Well As Scheduled Transport Of Medicines And Emergency Transport To Operating Units. A More Detailed Description Of The Service Is In Appendix 1 Service Description. The Well-Being Area Is Divided Into Five (5) Sub-Areas, Which Are Compared Sub-Area By Sub-Area. The Provider Can Offer One Or More Areas. Sub-Bids Within Sub-Regions Are Not Allowed. Based On The Competition, At Least One (1) Service Provider Will Be Selected For Each Region As Described In The Decision-Making Section Of The Request For Tenders. The Contract Period Is For A Fixed Period Of Two (2) Years. The Contract Can Be Extended With 12-Month And 9-Month Option Periods Until February 28, 2030.
