On Behalf Of The City Of Vaxholms Urban Development Administration (Also Called The City), The Procurement Unit Invites Tenderers (Also Called Suppliers) To Submit Tenders For A Digital, Cloud-Based Library System Adapted For Vaxholms City Library. The Procurement Concerns A Complete Library System Including Associated Web Solution For Public Web Interface And Web-Based Catalogue, Adapted To The Librarys Operations And Users. The Assignment Includes Introduction/Implementation Of The Library System, Including Configuration, Adaptation, Conversion And Migration Of Library Data From The Citys Current Library System, As Well As Implementation Of Training. The Delivery Must Result In The City Having An Installed, Fully Functional And Approved System Solution. Furthermore, Ongoing System Operation, Maintenance, Further Development And Swedish-Language Support Must Be Included During The Contract Period. The System Must Be Introduced, Approved And In Full Operation No Later Than April 1, 2027, Unless Otherwise Agreed In Writing Between The Parties. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Meet The Citys Needs For An Operated And Well-Functioning Library System For The City Library, With Associated Public Web Interface And Library Website, Which Meets All Requirements According To The Procurement Documents. The Goal Of The Procurement Is To Sign An Agreement With One (1) Supplier Who Is Responsible For The Entire Delivery In Accordance With The Procurement Documents. The Contract Period Is Six (6) Years, With The Possibility For The City To, Unilaterally And On Unchanged Terms, Extend The Contract Two (2) Times For Three (3) Years Each. This Means That The Total Maximum Contract Period Can Thus Be Twelve (12) Years. About Vaxholm The City Of Vaxholm (The City) Has Approximately 12,000 Inhabitants. Vaxholms City Library Currently Has Around 6,900 Registered Borrowers And Around 75,100 Catalog Entries. The Librarys Collections Include Approximately 36,700 Physical Copies And 38,400 Electronic Titles. Approximately 50,000 Loans Are Completed Annually, Including Reloans. Scope And Circulation May Change Over Time. The Procurement Covers The Citys Combined Needs Regarding Stock And Borrowers.
