Expression of Interest for CVT Technical and E&S Consultant The Government of Cabo Verde (GoCV), which currently holds a majority shareholding in Cabo Verde Telecom (CVT), the countrys incumbent and market-leading integrated telecom operator, is launching a competitive process to sell at least 40% of CVTs equity to a strategic investor (the Project). This transaction aims to bring in private-sector capital and expertise to accelerate CVTs network upgrades (e.g., nationwide fiber rollout and 5G deployment), improve service quality and innovation, and support Cabo Verdes digital economy ambitions. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is advising GoCV in the implementation of this Project, which will be executed in two (2) phases: - Phase 1: due diligence and transaction structuring - Phase 2: Tender IFC will engage several specialized consulting firms, including experts in legal, technical (telecommunications engineering), environmental and social (E&S) matters, and financial audit. This selection pertains specifically to the Technical and E&S Consultant (the Consultant), who will assist IFC in all technical and E&S aspects related to the preparation and implementation of the Project.
