The Purpose Of The New Visitor Center Is To Ensure A Sustainable Visitor Operation And Future Preservation Of The Stave Church, As Well As To Be Able To Communicate Urnes In A Depth And Breadth That Corresponds To The Obligations As A Unesco World Heritage Site. The Center Will Strengthen The Local Community In Ornes And Facilitate Sustainable Development In Line With Unescos Principles. Sub-Projects That Contribute To Content And Offers In The Centre, Indoors And Outdoors, Are Also Part Of The Project.
