Electric Buses – Elektrobus_Vvb_2026. Völklinger Verkehrsbetriebe Gmbh Intends To Purchase A Used Electric Articulated Bus To Replace An Older Existing Vehicle That Is To Be Taken Out Of Service. Purchasing A New Vehicle Is Expressly Not An Option. The Vehicle Fleet Of Völklinger Verkehrsbetriebe Gmbh Already Consists To A Significant Extent Of Electrically Powered Buses. Given The Ongoing Electrification Of The Vehicle Fleet And The Strategic Objective Of Further Expanding Emission-Free Drive Technologies, The Replacement Procurement In Question Should Also Be Carried Out Exclusively As An Electrically Powered Vehicle. The Purchase Of A Diesel-Powered Vehicle Or A Vehicle With Any Other Conventional Drive Is Expressly Excluded. The Subject Of The Tender Is An Operational, Approved Electric Articulated Bus Suitable For Regular Service That Meets The Relevant Legal, Technical And Safety Requirements For Operation In Local Public Transport. The Requirements For The Procurement Item Are Described In More Detail In Appendix 2.2 List Of Services. Due To A Short-Term Replacement Requirement, The Vehicle Must Be Available Promptly. The Aim Is To Acquire The Vehicle As Quickly As Possible, Including Handover And Commissioning. Before Awarding The Contract, The Client Expressly Reserves The Right To: • Inspect The Offered Vehicle Personally, • Check The Technical Condition, • And Verify The Information On The Scope Of Delivery, Equipment And Condition.
