Expression of Interest for Providing comprehensive Architectural Consultancy for Demolition of existing Chancery Building and Construction of an Integrated Diplomatic Complex Short-Listing of Architects /Architectural Firms. Before 1400 hrs. on 09.03.2026 High Commission of India in Colombo invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Architects/Architectural firms, henceforth referred to as Applicants, for short listing in respect of the project "Construction of a Integrated Diplomatic Complex consisting of Chancery, Cultural facilities, residences including recreation, parking facilities and associated ancillary services" on the plot of land at 36-38, Galle Road, Colombo-03 for High Commission of India, Colombo. The following indicative activities will need to be undertaken by the selected Applicant: Providing comprehensive Architectural Consultancy for Demolition of existing Chancery Building and Construction of an Integrated Diplomatic Complex consisting of Chancery, Cultural facilities, Residences including recreation, parking facilities and associated ancillary services including planning, obtaining necessary Statuary approvals, preparation of estimates and tender documents as per applicable codes and for design implementation during construction phase of the Project. 2. The built up area of the Project is expected to be approximately 18,700 sq.m. 3. EOI with all enclosures and their English translation, including its scanned PDF copy in CD/DVD needs to be submitted to High Commission of India, Colombo at or before 1400 hrs. on 09.03.2026 (Monday). Late submissions will be summarily rejected. 4. Applicants with 10 years professional experience, registered with the appropriate statutory authorities and permitted to practice as an Architect/Architectural Firm in Sri Lanka, are requested to submit documents for evaluation of their eligibility. Eligible applicants will be further evaluated through a two step process and will be ranked for short listing up to a maximum of 8 Applicants. As the next step of the process, shortlisted Applicants will be given the RFP of the Project for submission of their respective Concept Design and Financial Proposal for selection of the Project Architect.
