Prior Information Notice For Sewage Treatment Services – Engineering Supervision Services For The Operation And Maintenance Of Zahle Wastewater Treatment Plant And Technical Assistance To Th Bekaa Water Establishment. The Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wwtp) Of Zahle And Its Lifting Station Are Located In The Bekaa Governorate In Lebanon. The Wwtp Consists Of 2 Processing Lines Each Having A Capacity Of 18,500M3/Day. The Wwtp Is A Tertiary Treatment Facility That Was Put Into Operation In October 2017 And Has Been Continuously Operating Since That Date. The Lifting Station Conveys Zahle’S Wastewater To The Treatment Plant And Comprises 2 Pumps. Its Power Consumption Is 15 Kw With A Flow Of 17,000M3/Day And Has A Head Of 10M. The Facility Is Equipped With 2 Site Generators To Provide Electricity In Case Of Public Power Cutoffs Or Blackouts. The Contract Covers Delivery Of Engineering Supervision Services. The Service Provider Will: (1) Supervise The Operation And Maintenance Of Zahle Wastewater Treatment Plant And Related Lifting Station; (2) Provide Key Experts To Work Jointly With The Team Of Bwe In Order To Ensure A Proper Operation And Maintenance Of The Plant And Related Lifting Station; (3) Assess The Needs And Perform Preventive And Corrective Maintenance Interventions According To The O&M Manual In Collaboration With The Team Of Bwe; (4) Develop Performance Evaluation And Prepare Technical Reports; (5) Perform “On-The-Job” Training Activities To The Personnel Of The Bwe In Order To Develop Their Capacities; (6) Coordinate With Aics Expert And The Team Of Bwe For A Periodic Delivery Of Materials And Spare Parts And A Proper Execution Of Services. Duration: 30 Months
