Notice Is Hereby Given That The Province Of British Columbia, As Represented By The Ministry Of Public Safety And Solicitor General Is Contemplating Making A Direct Award Of A Contract To Asini’Atik Cultural Services (The “Supplier”).The High-Level Details Of The Contemplated Contract Are Generally Described Below.Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre (Krcc) Requires A Contractor To Fulfil Our Indigenous Cultural Liaison Position. The Focus Of This Position Is To Support Indigenous Individuals In Custody To Access Traditional Indigenous Culture And To Assist Them To Prepare For A Return To The Community. Connecting Individuals With Appropriate Community Resources And Liaising With Community Service Providers To Assist Individuals With A Successful Community Reintegration. The Proponent Must Have A Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Delivering Programs To Indigenous And Non-Indigenous Peoples Such As Culturally Appropriate Workshops. The Proponent Must Also Have A Minimum 1 Year Experience Working With Indigenous People With Multiple Barriers Assisting Them With Release Planning And Linking Them To Community Resources.
