Work Detail
In July 2021, The City Of Bad Münstereifel Was Affected By An Extreme Heavy Rain And Flood Disaster. The Dreisbach In Particular Was Significantly Damaged. As Part Of The Reconstruction And Through Financial Support From The Federal Government And The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia, The “M225 Dreisbach Water Restoration” Project Was Initiated. The Dreisbach Is Part Of Several Water Complexes In The City And Crosses Both Forested And Built-Up Areas. The Project Responsibility Lies With The City Of Bad Münstereifel. The Flood Led To Extreme Deep And Bank Erosion Along The Entire Stream, Damaged Culverts, Bridges And Infrastructure. In Several Sections There Were Massive Signs Of Erosion, Sediment Deposits, Destroyed Bank Areas, Blockages Caused By Dead Wood And Damaged Supply Lines. The Aim Of The Measure Is To Restore The Ecological And Water Management Situation Before The Flood Event And To Sustainably Improve The Hydraulic Engineering Systems. At The Same Time, Interventions Due To The Location Of The Dreisbach In The Nature Reserve Should Be Reduced To A Minimum. This Tender Includes Several Spatially Separate Individual Measures, Which, However, Partially Intertwine (E.G. By Shifting Sediments). A Lot Allocation Is Therefore Not Planned. The Location And Description Of The Individual Measures Are Shown In The Overview Plan. Structure Of The Offer (Chapter) The List Of Services Drawn Up Is Structured According To The Individual Measures, With A General Part Being Upstream And The Rehabilitation Of The Inlet And Outlet Areas Of A Total Of 8 Culverts Being Summarized 1.02-1.251.4 Renovate Culverts1.5 Measure 3 Remove Sediment Surface Weight Km 1.74-1.851.6 Measure 4 Stabilize Lateral. The Ground Conditions Can Vary Greatly Depending On The Weather And Moisture; The Work Must Therefore Generally Be Carried Out Outside Of Flood Times. If Water Levels Rise And The Ground Conditions Are Unsuitable, Work Must Be Stopped. Such Waiting Times Must Be Taken Into Account; Any Longer Retention Times Or Costs Resulting From This, As Well As Ensuring The Condition Of The Building, Will Not Be Reimbursed Separately. The Flow Of Water Must Be Guaranteed At All Times, Even In The Event Of Flooding, In Order To Avoid Endangering The Downstream Residents. Services For Dewatering And Keeping The Water Clean Are Listed In The Appropriate Positions. The Contractor Must Take Into Account And Take Into Account The Choice Of Work Equipment And Vehicles To Be Used. This Project Is A Measure Funded By The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia And The Federal Republic Of Germany To Repair Damage To Public And Private Infrastructure As Well As For Reconstruction Due To The Heavy Rain And Flood Disaster In July 2021 (Funding Guidelines (Frl) Reconstruction North Rhine-Westphalia) Of May 27, 2025.
