The Order Includes The Complete Reprocessing Of The Clients Medical Devices (To The Extent Of Approx. 70,000 Stu/Year) In The Contractors Reprocessing Facility. The Reprocessing Must Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Requirements Of The Krinko/Bfarm Recommendation On Hygiene Requirements For The Reprocessing Of Medical Devices (Bundesgesundheitsblatt 2012, 55: 1244-1310). The Scope Of Services Extends To Medical Devices Classified As Non-Critical, Semi-Critical A, Semi-Critical B And Critical A To Critical C. The Order Relates To The Clients Main Location, The University Hospital Aachen, Pauwelsstraße 30, 52074 Aachen, And Optionally To The Franziskus Location, Morillenhang 27, 52074 Aachen, With An Additional Volume Of Approx. 10,000 Stu/Year. The Order Also Includes The Sterile Goods Logistics Required For Processing Between The Processing Facility And The Transfer Points Defined By The Client (Via The Road). This Includes In Particular The Collection And Return Of The Medical Devices Used Or To Be Processed, The Provision Of Sterile Goods And The Implementation Of Quality Assurance. The Reprocessing Of Flexible Endoscopes Classified As Semi-Critical Is Not Part Of The Order?B. The Term Of The Contract Is Five (5) Years. The Client Has The Unilateral Option To Initially Extend The Contract For One (1) Additional Year. After This Extension Has Expired, The Client Also Has The Unilateral Option To Extend The Contract For A Further (1) Year. The Respective Extension Option Is Exercised By Written Notification From The Client To The Contractor Before The End Of The Respective Contract Or Extension Term.
