Mar 2026 About Berytech: Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. About Euromed Clusters Forward: ECF is a 4-year project that aims at establishing and improving clusters legal policies, strengthening clusters capacity & regional cooperation, and strengthening regional value chains. Berytech is the implementing partner of ECF in Lebanon, that is funded by the European Union and coordinated by Anima Investment Network with 3 implementing partners and 9 affiliates from the Euromed region. About Cluster Booster: Cluster Booster is a technical assistance activity under the Euromed Clusters Forward led by Berytech. It aims at strengthening the skills of cluster managers, staff, and SME members in the South Mediterranean region. This 18-month program offers training and technical help to help clusters grow and succeed. Key focuses include establishing and improving the governance and sustainability models; developing strategies to attract new members; analyzing value chains for better market positioning; scaling-up their business performances and enhancing technological and innovation capabilities to foster North-South Mediterranean collaboration. Cluster Overview: An Egyptian export council under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, operating since 1997 with 150 active members. Its mission is to improve the competitiveness of Egyptian engineering products by providing export-related services such as producing market intelligence studies, organizing capacity building workshops, participating in international exhibitions, setting up trade missions to priority export markets and buyers missions to Egypt, and implementing economic development projects in collaboration with local stakeholders as well as international partners. Scope of work The exchange program will provide EECE with practical exposure to the organizational setup, departmental functions, operational tools, and internal processes of a selected institution that plays a comparable role in export promotion and enterprise support. The host will be responsible for 2 main components: Component 1: Exploring the Host Institutions Structure and Strategy Facilitate in-depth sessions with leadership and key operational departments to understand the governance model, interdepartmental coordination, and strategic priorities of the host institution. Explore the host organizations tools, systems, and workflows for client management, export services, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Participate in focused discussions on how the institution designs and implements its support programs, including trade missions, market access facilitation, sector-specific interventions, and public-private partnerships. Exchange insights on successful initiatives, lessons learned from institutional reforms, and approaches to innovation and digitalization in export promotion. Component 2: Travel mission: Organize and implement a five-day exchange visit to the host organization. The purpose of the visit is to provide EECE with practical exposure to the Councils organizational structure, departmental roles, operational tools, and internal processes. The program will include meetings at the departmental level, knowledge-sharing sessions, and focused discussions on export support mechanisms and institutional best practices in addition to meeting with local stakeholders that are directly relevant to EECEs mission, needs and business opportunities. Coordinate travel, accommodation, and administrative arrangements for 5 to 7 EECE participants. Manage all logistical details related to the mission, including letters of invitations for the visas (if applicable), transportation, and daily agendas. Prepare and deliver a presentation to EECE staff and stakeholders upon return, summarizing the outcomes and suggested follow-up actions. expected deliverables Support materials: templates, presentation, and resources. Attendance: attendance sheet of the cluster participation on a daily basis. Travel mission: booking and invoices of flight tickets, accommodation, and other costs of all travelling participants. A finalized five-day agenda covering relevant departments, areas of interest, meetings with stakeholders. A final report: A comprehensive visit summary report highlighting key learnings and best practices A comparative analysis identifying tools and processes applicable to EECE Actionable recommendations for strengthening EECEs internal operations An internal presentation summarizing findings for EECEs staff and stakeholders. Timeline: Agenda coordination and planning: April - May 2026 Exchange visit: First week of June 2026 Qualifications Organization based in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark, or the Netherlands Proven experience in hosting international delegations, peer exchanges, or study tours, ideally with public or semi-public institutions from developing or transitioning economies. Ability to organize high-level meetings, workshops, and site visits relevant to the Egyptian delegations priorities. Staff with proficiency in English and an understanding of cross-cultural exchange. Experience or focus in sectors relevant to Egypts engineering and manufacturing industries, or strong links to companies and institutions within those sectors.
