Spalding County Invites Written Proposals By Qualified Companies To Operate Our Existing Five Collection Centers For A Period Of Two Years Beginning July 1, 2026, Through June 30, 2028, Under The Functionality Of A Land Lease Between The Successful Bidder And Spalding County. Spalding County Is Soliciting Competitive Bids For The Direct Land Lease And Operation Of The Five (5) County Trash Collection Centers. The Successful Bidder Will Lease, Staff, And Operate Each Facility And Will Be Responsible For All Labor, Fee Collection, Equipment Maintenance, And The Proper Removal And Disposal Of All Trash And Materials Collected. Each Trash Collection Center Must Operate A Minimum Of Three (3) Days Per Week For At Least Eight (8) Hours Per Day, With Saturday Required As One Of The Operating Days. While This Is The Required Minimum Level Of Service, Spalding County Will Give Preference To Bidders Who Propose Staffing And Operating The Facilities For More Than The Minimum Number Of Days Per Week.
