The Province Requires Laundry Services To Be Provided At The Hinton Training Centre (Htc) Located In Hinton, Alberta Consisting Of Two (2) Residence Buildings, An Academic Building, Forestry Museum, Rappel, Warehouse And Garage. The Htc Delivers Services Approximately 350 Days Per Year With Certain Buildings Being In Use 24 Hours A Day. The Services Provided Will Include The Cleaning Of Linens, Blankets, And Bed Bug Encasements, Along With Bed Preparation At Cache Percotte Campground, Which Has 62 Beds. Additionally, Housekeeping Services Will Be Provided As Needed At The Mountain View And Valley View Residences, Where Linens For 159 Beds Will Be Supplied. The Services Also Include The Maintenance Of Linen Rooms. The Amount Of Rooms/Beds Vary Each Week Depending On The Amount Of Checkouts. A) Provide Laundry Services: •This Project Requires Laundry Services To Clean Provided Linens. •Pick Up/Deliver Soiled/Clean Linens At The Centre, And •Provide Professional Cleaning An Assortment Of Bed Linens, Encasements, Curtains, And •Spot-Treat Stains, And •Fold Linens Into A Unified Formation •Ensure Accurate Count Of Soiled And Clean Linens And Forward To Contract Manager With Completed Laundry Slips •Laundry Consists Of Cotton Sheets, Pillowcases, Comforter Covers, Comforters, Pillows Blankets, Mattress Pads, Encasements, Shower Curtains, Curtains And Miscellaneous Household Items. B) Provide Housekeeping Services When Requested: •When Service Is Required, Prepare Beds For Occupancy Upon Request With 48 Hours Notice When Services Will Be Required. •To Include Stripping And Making Beds, Upon Request •Ensure Linens Are Maintained In Linen Rooms In Multiple Buildings, And •Prepare, Soiled Linens For Laundry Service, And •Ensure Accurate Count Of Soiled And Clean Linens. •Approximately 3-16 Hrs Per Week Is Required To Complete Housekeeping Services. Hinton Training Centre Projects A Maximum Total Of 9,000 Pounds Of Cotton Linens Laundered Per Year And Up To 900 Assorted Individual Laundry Items Per Year.
