Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services - City Of Bad Rappenau (Own Urban Drainage Company) - Europe-Wide Award Of Planning Services For The Renewal Of The Sludge Drainage Of The Bad Rappenau Mühlbachtal Sewage Treatment Plant. Subject Of The Measure: The City Of Bad Rappenau - Its Own Municipal Drainage Company Bad Rappenau Intends To Renew The Sludge Drainage Of The Bad Rappenau Mühlbachtal Sewage Treatment Plant By Building A New Two-Lane Sludge Drainage System At A New Location Within The Sewage Treatment Plant Site, North Of The Existing Operational Building. Background: The Existing Centrifuge System In The Mühlbach Sewage Treatment Plant Has Been In Operation For Around 13 Years And Is Technically And Economically Worn Out. In Recent Years, Costly Defects Have Repeatedly Occurred Without Long-Term Stable Operation Being Guaranteed. The Machine Is Undersized, Is Often Operated At Its Performance Limits And, Due To Leaks, Produces Germ-Contaminated Aerosols That Pose A Health Risk To Operating Personnel. The Electrical Systems Are Also Inadequately Protected Against The Moist And Aggressive Atmosphere, Which Further Endangers Operations. In Addition, The Current Location On The 1St Floor Of The Company Building Is Operationally Unfavorable: The Existing Crane Does Not Offer The Necessary Lifting Height For Maintenance Work, The Telescopic Conveyor Belt Used For The Container Filling System Is Highly Susceptible To Failure And Causes High Follow-Up Costs. The Truck Required To Change Containers Also Incurs Permanent Rental Costs, Requires Specially Trained Personnel And Encounters Significant Maneuvering Problems In The Cramped Sludge Dumping Hall. Variant Investigation: In 2025, The Klinger & Partner Gmbh Office Was Commissioned To Carry Out A Comprehensive Variant Investigation. This Showed That Only Variant 3.2 - The Construction Of A New, Independent Two-Lane Sludge Dewatering Building - Met All Technical, Economic And Operational Objectives. Variant 3.2 Ensures In Particular The Following: - Extensive Automation To Relieve The Burden On Operating Personnel, - The Redundant Two-Line Design Of The Centrifuges, - The Possibility Of Dewatering The Weekly Amount Of Sludge Within 3 Working Days Of 6 Hours Each, - Sludge Discharge Without The Use Of Trucks, - Optimal Conditions For Maintenance And Operation Over A Period Of At Least 30 To 40 Years, - The Parallel Use Of The Mobile Interim Sludge Dewatering System Up To For Commissioning And - The Option To Install A Photovoltaic System On The New Building. The Total Costs Of The Preferred Variant Amount To Approximately Eur 2.115 Million Gross (Preliminary Allowable Manufacturing Costs In The Kg 300 To 400 According To Din 276-1:2018-12). The Implementation Of The Preferred Variant 3.2 Includes The Following Four Trades: - Trade No. 1: New Construction Of Company Building - Trade No. 2: Mechanical Engineering - Trade No. 3: Electrical, Measurement, Control And Regulation Technology - Trade No. 4: Civil Engineering/Road Construction The Services For Trades Nos. 1 To 4 Are Based On The Planning Services Of The Klinger & Partner Gmbh Office (Mittlererpfad 5,
