Laplands Welfare Area Is Planning The Purchase Of Ambulances And Asks All Operators Interested In The Purchase To Participate In The Market Dialogue. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Tender The Procurement Contract, Which Includes Ambulance Platforms, Bodywork And Platform Maintenance Contracts. In Addition, The Contract Includes Some Equipment Permanently Installed In The Ambulance, Such As Defibrillators, Stretchers And Stretchers. The Contract Is Concluded With One Bidder, Who Takes Responsibility For The Whole. However, The Provider Can Subcontract Part Of The Required Services. Tentatively, The Length Of The Procurement Contract, Including All Options, Is Planned To Be Around 6-7 Years. The Procurement Includes An Estimated 40-80 Ambulances. The Expected Value Of The Acquisition Is 7-14 Million Euros. Acquisitions Are Made According To The Annual Investment Plan Approved By The Regional Board Of The Lapland Welfare Region Or According To Need. The Request For Tenders Is Planned To Be Published In Autumn 2026 At The Latest. The Procurement Contract Is Wanted To Enter Into Force As Soon As Possible. Currently, The Lapland Welfare Region Has Contracts For The Procurement Of Ambulances Transferred From Previous Organizations. These Current Contracts Expire In 2026 And 2027. These Contracts Are Used Until The End Of The Contracts. In The Years 2026 And 2027, On The Basis Of This New Tender, Which Is Now Being Prepared, A Maximum Of A Few Individual Cars Will Be Procured For The Areas Whose Current Procurement Contracts Have Expired By The Time Of The Order. In 2028 And From Then On, All Ambulance Purchases Will Be Concentrated On This New Contract Concluded On The Basis Of The Tender Currently Being Prepared. However, Laplands Welfare Region Has The Right To Acquire Individual Cars Based On Other Procurement Procedures As Well, If A Car Corresponding To The Required Ambulance Is Not Included In The Contract. All Ambulance Platforms Must Be Four-Wheel Drive And Have Automatic Transmissions. Ambulances Will Be Procured With At Least Two Different Sized Platforms. Larger Ambulances Are Based On Approximately 6 Meter Long Van Platforms. Smaller Ambulances Are Based On Van Platforms Less Than 5.5 Meters Long And Less Than 2 Meters Wide Without Mirrors. All Platforms Must Be Available With At Least Two Roof Heights. Fully Electric Ambulances And Ambulances Based On 7-7.5 Meter Long Van Platforms Are Being Considered As Options. Participation In The Market Dialogue Is Voluntary. Participation Is Not A Condition For Participating In The Tender. No Compensation Is Paid For Participating In The Market Dialogue. In The Market Dialogue, The Procurement Unit Invites Potential Bidders To Discuss The Solutions Available On The Market. Companies Interested In Purchasing Are Asked To Bring Their Manufactured Ambulances To Rovaniemi For Familiarization And Test Driving.
