Work Detail
The University Of Turku Is Mapping The Possibilities And Implementation Methods Of Acquiring An Information System For The Reception, Administration, Use And Controlled And Licensed Sharing Of Original Research Materials. The Information System Should Be Suitable For Storing Sensitive Data In Terms Of Its Security Features And Should Be Suitable For Archive Use. The Target Of The Mapping Is Finished Software In Production Use In All Respects. With The Help Of The Information System, The Aim Is To Guarantee The Preservation, Usability, Availability And Accessibility Of The (Digital) Research Materials And Their Metadata Produced By The Researchers Of The University Of Turku. The Information System Does Not Manage Long-Term, Electronic Archiving Of Digital Research Materials, But It Is Managed Separately. This Notice Is Not A Procurement Notice Or A Request For Tender, And Its Publication Does Not Start A Tender. This Is A Market Survey And A Request For Information Related To Preliminary Research For Potential Suppliers. We Ask You To Answer The Questions In Appendix 1 In The Request For Information, And We Are Happy To Receive All Kinds Of Comments About The Possible Definition Of Requirements And Especially About The Responsibility Criteria (Appendix 2). In Your Answers, You Can Also Highlight Other Functionalities Or Proposed Solutions That Your System Has. Regarding The Specification Of Requirements, We Especially Want Information On Whether A Requirement Is Impossible To Implement Or Whether Its Implementation Would Be Unreasonably Expensive. The University Of Turku Works To Reduce The Negative Effects Of Digital Technology On The Environment, Which Is Why We Would Like Information On How The Responsibility Criteria Have Been Taken Into Account In Your Information System. The Responsibility Criteria Are Based On The Criteria Bank Maintained By Motiva, Which Is Used To Reduce The Negative Environmental Effects Of Public Procurement. Our Goal Is To Map Functional Information Systems Intended For Archival Use, Especially For The Reception, Management, Cataloguing, Use And Authorized Distribution Of Sensitive Research Materials. With This Request For Information, The University Of Turku Wants To Map Which Solutions On The Market Meet The Needs Of The University Of Turku And What Is The Price Difference Between The Applicable Solutions. Market Players Are Asked To Indicate Their Willingness To Participate In The Survey By Submitting Their Notice Of Participation Through The System. The Purpose Of The Request For Information Is To Map The Solutions On The Market And To Obtain Comprehensive Information About Them So That The Tender Being Prepared Can Be Carried Out As Appropriately As Possible. Answering The Request For Information Is Not A Prerequisite For Participating In A Possible Tender And Does Not Affect The Bidders Position In It. The Facts Presented In The Request For Information Are Preliminary And May Change As The Procurement Preparation Progresses. The Feedback Received In The Request For Information Can Be Used In The Preparation Of The Request For Tender. Those Who Answered The Request For Information Or Participated In The Market Dialogue Will Not Be Compensated For Answering The Request For Information, Nor For The Costs Incurred From Participating In The Market Dialogue. The Information Provided By The Suppliers Will Be Treated Confidentially. More Detailed Information Can Be Found In The Attached Documents.
