As A Regional Energy Supplier, The Ag Operates, Among Other Things, A District Heating Network With Currently Around 350 Km Of Route Length And Around 7,000 Customer Connections For Around 70,000 Residential Units. He Intends To Expand His District Heating Generation As Part Of The Overall Calor Project Using Environmental Heat From The Kiel Fjord With A Large Heat Pump System With A Total Output Of [Approximately 100 Mwth] And An Additional Heat Storage Facility. The Overall Calor Project Is To Be Realized On The Northern Part Of The Former Operating Site Of The Former And Now Dismantled Kiel Joint Power Plant In The Immediate Vicinity Of The Coastal Power Plant (Ghkw) Operated By The Ag And Is Made Up Of Various Individual Lots, Of Which The Contractual Lot 4 Represents The Main Component And Includes, Among Other Things, The Compressors, The Conveyor Water Pumps And The Conveyor Water Circuit, The Pump Hall Including The Technical Center, The Higher-Level Systems And With Infrastructure And Paths, The Electrical And Control Technology, The Video Surveillance System And The Telephone System Include Central Components That Are To Be Bundled And Provided By The Contractor From A Single Source. The Renovation Of The Existing Inlet And Expansion Works Of The Former Gkk (Lot 1), The Delivery And Assembly Of The 110 Kv Transformers (Lot 2) And The 110 Kv Switchgear (Lot 3) As Well As The Construction Of The Additional Heat Storage (Lot 5) Are Commissioned Separately By The Client And Are Not The Direct Subject Of This Tender; However, As Part Of His Responsibility For The Functional Success Of The Work, The Contractor Must Also Establish The Interfaces To The Other Lots And Put The Relevant Components Into Operation With The Large Heat Pump System, Which Are Also Part Of The Trial Operation Owed By The Client.
