Construction Work – Route De Chancy - Bandol Drawer Route - Civil Engineering Works. The Project Consists Of Creating A Drawer Track (Two-Way Service Road) On The Route De Chancy, Bandol Stop Sector, In Order To Allow The Trams Of Future Line 13 To Turn Around And Optimize The Operation Of The Tpg Network. This Infrastructure, Inserted Between The Two Existing Commercial Routes, Requires The Installation Of Three Track Switches, Local Modification Of The Tram Platform And Adaptation Of The Overhead Contact Line. The Project Also Provides For The Dismantling Of The Current Siding And Its Transformation Into A Planted Berm, Allowing The Transplantation Of 7 Trees Impacted By The New Infrastructure. The Geometry Of The Berm Was Designed To Ensure Compatibility With Bus And Tram Traffic, As Well As The Needs Of Transplanted Trees. A Watering System Will Be Adapted And Extended To Ensure The Sustainability Of The Plantations. The Work Is Organized In Several Stages: Demolition Of The Track Switches, Creation Of The Planted Berm, Transplantation Of Trees, Then Construction Of The Drawer Track And Adaptation Of The Overhead Line. The Phasing Is Designed To Limit The Impact On Traffic: Maintaining Motorized, Cycle And Pedestrian Traffic, Occasional Cuts To Tram Traffic With The Installation Of Substitute Shuttles. Major Interventions Are Scheduled During School Holidays.
