The Service Does Not Include The Care Of Wild Animals, But Measures According To Section 7 Of The Animal Welfare Act (693/2023) (Termination) Are Included. The City Of Turku Evaluates The Possibilities Of Producing The Service Either As Its Own Production Or As A Purchase Service. According To § 8.1 Of The Municipalities Act, A Municipality Can Organize The Tasks Stipulated By The Law Itself Or Agree To Transfer Responsibility For Organizing To Another Municipality Or A Group Of Municipalities. According To Section 50.1 Of The Municipal Act, If The Municipality Agrees In Accordance With Section 8 To Transfer The Responsibility For Organizing A Task Stipulated In The Law To Another Municipality Or A Group Of Municipalities, The Act On Public Procurement And Right-Of-Use Agreements (1397/2016), Hereinafter Referred To As The Procurement Act, Does Not Apply To The Transfer.
